The TWO LAST FISH
Fish stocks are going down and down. In the 1970's when I was a commercial fisherman, during the winter months we often caught hundreds of kilos of fish per man, each day with hook-and-line methods. The mackerel population at the time was considered 'inestimable'. Yes, that's what the scientists said. In the late '70's industrial fishing knocked the mackerel numbers down to.....desperate.
