As important as the Transcendentalist Writers, the NY Abstract Impressionists or San Francisco Beat Poets in defining American cultural heritage is the Sun Recording Co. Sam Phillips developed and recorded his roster of black and white musicians who were the genesis of Rock 'n' Roll, a meeting of Country and Blues. The Big Bang !
